All sales on The White Files are final and no returns are made unless the product is deemed faulty. If your item arrives faulty or damaged, please email us at hello@thewhitefiles.com and we will review the matter right away. Please note that all returns must be sent returned to From St Xavier's location within 14 days of the time that the defect is identified. Shipping

When will my order arrive?


The rings are handcrafted to order, which takes between three and five weeks. Once your piece is complete, your order will be processed immediately and couriered to you. Orders will arrive in three to seven business days following their completion.




Are you able to rush orders?


Yes, we can, however this comes with an additional charge. Orders will ship within two weeks of the date of the order. Please email us at hello@thewhitefiles.com to discuss further details.




How much is shipping?


We ship complimentary internationally for all orders. All orders outside the US are sent using DHL, Fedex or TNT with full tracking information available. A daytime delivery address should be provided since all parcels require a signature on delivery. All taxes and duties are covered on international orders of Lucy and Mui, so you don't pay anything beyond the product price.

What is your returns policy?


As the pieces are handcrafted to order, they cannot be returned or exchanged.




What if the item I received is damaged or faulty?


All our items are shipped in Lucy & Mui's signature box and couriered to you. If your item arrives faulty or damaged, please email us at hello@thewhitefiles.com and we will review the matter right away.

Who is Lucy & Mui?


Lucy & Mui is a fine jewellery line based in Singapore that we have recently welcomed to The White Files online curated shop. We're stocking a curated range of their wedding bands that we think would be a stunning partner-in-crime to engagement rings.





Production

Where is Lucy & Mui made?


This jewelry line is handcrafted exclusively by skilled local artisans in Singapore.




How are the pieces made?


Their design team sketches each design by hand, following which these hand-sketches are sent for 3D rendering, allowing them to visualize the varying dimensions of a design before it is crafted. Once this process is complete, their expert craftsmen use their decades of skill and experience to mold, polish and set the very first prototype. They test-run each of these prototypes to ensure they live up to our promise of comfort and wearability before a design becomes a part of their collection. No two Lucy & Mui pieces are exactly the same. Each time you place an order for a Lucy & Mui piece, their artisans mold, polish and set your piece individually to ensure each piece is granted individual attention, is uniquely made and set apart from mass market jewelry.




Are the diamonds ethically sourced?


In line with our ethos, we only align with brands who share our values for ethical sourcing and conscious production. Lucy & Mui has a zero-tolerance policy toward conflict diamonds. They work with respected suppliers who uphold their values and who work with a supply chain that does the same. If any of their suppliers are found to be in violation of that process, they will immediately sever that relationship. Lucy & Mui strive to continually support and promote any process that works to uphold legitimacy in the diamond trade.
A recent development in the diamond industry is the use of TRACR, the blockchain end-to-end diamond tracing solution developed by De Beers for the purpose of ensuring that conflict diamonds do not enter its supply chain. With each development we are getting closer and closer to eliminating conflict diamonds completely and we're excited about that!





Sizing

What size should I order?


We understand it can be difficult to figure out your ring sizing when ordering online, which is why we have created a ring sizing guide for you, which can be found here. These size charts are only a guide, but can give you a better idea of what size you might be.
The sizes are listed in US / Candian sizing - but the sizing chart shows the conversion for other countries. If you are still unsure of your ring size, simply check out the ring of your choice and under the Size option, select "I'm not sure - Send me a Free Ring Sizer". Upon receiving your ring order, we will arrange for your Free Ring Sizer to be sent to you, and await your confirmation on size. If you would like to be sized in person, you can also visit any local jeweller in your area - most would be happy to help you with ring sizing information.
