As we work with a number of suppliers, if you are ordering multiple items, your packages may come from different suppliers at different times.

Exchange rates are determined by the issuer of your credit card.
-Dresses are hand made to order which takes three months. Don’t forget to then factor in shipping and alterations.
-Shipping is free worldwide – but if you’re an international bride you will be subject to local duties and taxes.
-Although our pieces are designed with ease in mind, some minor alterations (including hem length) will be needed so they fit you perfectly. This is a fair easy adjustment for any professional seamstress in your area.
-All prices are in AUD.
-Prices are different for Australian customers compared to International customers to account for GST.
-There are strictly no returns unless faulty.
There is no such thing as ordering your dress too early! It leaves you time to plan the rest of your look and focus on other elements of your big day. Production time for our pieces is currently three months, but we recommend ordering your dress at least six months before your wedding to allow time for delivery and alterations.
If your wedding is less than three months away, please send us an email and we will try our best to accommodate. Rush fees will apply.
One of the things that makes our pieces special is that we hand-make each and every piece from Cathleen Jia’s Melbourne based bridal loft. To maintain the best high-quality standards, we control every step ourselves rather than have them made overseas; we design, pattern, cut and hand make each dress, package, and deliver worldwide all ourselves.

Earrings
Please note, there may be delays in postage due to the current Coronavirus situation.
All earrings are in stock and dispatched within two business days of your order from Western Australia.
Delivery time differs depending on your location - Australian customers factor in 5+ business days for delivery, and international brides factor in 10+ business days. Remote locations may be longer.
Tracking is not available at this stage.
All applicable customs fees, taxes and duties are the sole responsibility of the purchaser.
Once an order has been dispatched and tracking numbers sent, it is the responsibility of the purchaser to track the item and ensure it has cleared customs at the other end. We accept no responsibility for delays or denial enforced by any customs authority.
We do not accept returns on earrings due to hygiene regulations.
If you believe your pair of earrings is faulty, please email a picture to hello@thewhitefiles.com and we will get in touch to discuss a refund or a replacement pair depending on stock levels.
Please note if we are out of stock on a particular item we may not be able to replace your order and will have to refund instead.
To get your earrings to remain in good condition, be sure to store them in a dry and clean place.
Do not get the earrings wet as this can cause tarnishing to the plating. Due to the nature of gold and silver plating, the finish may rub off or discolour over time. This is natural wear and tear and is not considered a manufacturing fault.
Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc and will naturally tarnish when exposed to oxygen. arnishing is actually a protective layer for the brass. Keeping it shiny is easy.
Polish using a jewellery polishing cloth. Brass cleaner can be used but sparingly. Apply a very small amount to a jewellery or microfibre cloth and clean gently.
To avoid tarnishing store in a dry space away from direct sunlight and air vent. Its best to keep in a jewellery box with a lid.
If pressure is placed on the earring posts or if they are bent out of shape, they can become weak, which may result in breakage.
Clutches
We currently only ship the clutches on our website to Australia and New Zealand.
We ship all domestic (Australian) orders via Australia Post eParcel which offers a 1-4 business days service. To see the anticipated delivery service for your location, please see here.
All international packages may be subject to duties and taxes which are the responsibility of the customer. The limits for duty-free packages are established by your local customs authorities. Please allow up to one business day in addition to the above shipping time frames to accommodate for order processing.
All sales on The White Files are final and no returns are made unless the product is deemed faulty.

Please note that all returns must be sent returned to From St Xavier's location within 14 days of the time that the defect is identified. If they do not receive the defective item back within the time period, we will not be able to process your refund.
