If you follow The White Files closely you’ll know how much I have a designer crush on Cathleen Jia. That’s why today I’m so excited to share with you her latest collection, Modern Legacy.
The collection was inspired by her recent trip to Vietnam with her husband, by immersing herself in a different culture and seeing how beautiful traditional garments was crafted with exquisite textures and vibrant colours.
“Our travel got me thinking about our lineage, our traditions and how marriage signifies the next phase of your life – your modern legacy,” Designer, Cathleen Jia
This sense of individuality and personal story was the driving force behind the new collection.
Modern Legacy shows the evolution of the label, a step into the direction of minimalism which still retains romance with it’s delicate decorations.
“Modern Legacy is one of my favorites yet. It’s taken what I’ve loved from the previous collections and married them with new elements that I know brides will absolutely love!” “We want our brides to feel liberated. Modern Legacy was launched today and the stunning pieces are available Cathleen Jia Bridal loft here in Melbourne before heading to London Bridal Fashion Week and being available worldwide soon after.
