I love a good old fashion love story and Taylor & Reilly are just that! I sat down with Taylor to hear all about their love and their beautiful wedding held at the picturesque Willow & Stone Estate in Ballarat and captured by Pretty Flamingo Photography.
“Reilly and I met when I was 16 and he was 18 – I loved him from the day I met him! We are complete opposites in so many ways but most importantly we share the same values. Reilly and I are all about good wine, good food, friends, family and having FUN!
After 8 years he finally popped the question getting down on one knee at our home we built on a casual Friday night – he got me!…in every way.
Having grown up together in Ballarat, a local wedding was important to us and a natural fit. Our wedding vision was black tie, garden party with lots of amazing food, wine and great entertainment!
Willow and Stone Estate located in Ballarat really was our dream wedding venue. After we got engaged there was no urgency to get married right away so we took our time to find our perfect venue. We had always hoped to marry in our hometown however were really beginning to think that this wasn’t going to be possible as there was no venue’s that really stood out to us or somewhere where our guest’s hadn’t all been before. Then we found Willow and Stone on Instagram and couldn’t believe that it was in Ballarat and we had never heard of it before! We went and met with Leish the owner and fell in love at first sight.
We picked a very talented tribe to support our day and what resulted was a fun, stylish celebration that completely fulfilled our wedding day dreams. There were seriously so many favourites moments of the day – right from the moment we saw each other down the aisle for the first time, our vows (which we had written separately), our bridal party photos, the speeches, the dancing, just everything! It was an unforgettable day.
Anyone who says “it’s just one day”, don’t listen to them!
