Reem Acra never fail to take my breath away with their new collections. Their Spring 2019 collection showed a side of them that took a back seat over their past few collections – a true sense of grandiose with classic Victorian-style gowns. Think full ballgowns with a cinched in waist, the dress every girl dreams of when they’re young.
Of course the intricate embroideries that Reem Acra have become renowned for were present throughout the collection, as were sheer chiffon looks. The two when combined with the grand ballgown designs might take a little adjusting to get used to for some. But, that’s exactly what Bridal Fashion Week is all about – to push the boundaries with innovative new styles and takes on classic looks.
