State Of Reverie

State of Reverie is the new arrival on the wedding stationery and styling scene bringing a fresh approach to designing weddings for style conscious couples. Expect exciting things from founder Emily Revell, a Graphic Designer who traded the corporate world to shake up the market for wedding stationery and styling.

To celebrate this week’s release of their new online store, State Of Reverie has teamed up with two other talented wedding vendors to create a styled shoot that showcases their modern and unique collections. Aimed at the brides and grooms who don’t want the cookie cutter wedding look, the shoot showcases flowers by Babylon Flowers, and linen by Table Art Event Hire. Taking styling took cues from current interior design trends — warm tones of blush pinks, whites and taupes, are contrasted with bold yet minimalist stationery pieces from two of State Of Reverie’s new collections, Bodoni and Capri.

The collections include both invitation and on the day stationery pieces, and are designed to pair with the studio’s custom made stands for hire.

“When styling my own wedding, I found a gap in the market for creative and modern stationery and styling pieces. There are so many couples who don’t have the budget for an expensive stylist but still want their wedding to be modern and memorable. I created State Of Reverie to help the style conscious brides and grooms organise a wedding that reflects their tastes, rather than subscribing to the typical over-done wedding trends”, says Emily.

With contemporary design at the heart of everything they do, State Of Reverie’s modernist aesthetic has brought a fresh approach to wedding stationery and styling. From invitations through to event day signage, menus, styling pieces and more; traditions are set aside in favour of creating unique pieces that reflect today’s couples.

Their new website includes a selection of vibrant stationery collections to order online, as well as a small edit of custom made hire pieces. Designed and made in Melbourne, all stationery pieces are available for worldwide shipping, and hire pieces available for events in Melbourne and surrounds.
